dear best friend,
to start things off, i love you. plain and simple.
you are one of the most amazing people that i have ever met; i adore your ability to be able to laugh things off and cover up your sadness with a smile that brightens the room.
we grew extremely close this past summer, and i couldnt have asked for a better friend than you, honest.
even though i never ever see you, i always know that you will be by my side in spirit, and that you know that i will never leave you.
whatever it takes to keep you safe, ill do it; rather it be, stay up with you until you fall asleep, skip something important to make sure you get home okay, beat the shit out of an asshole trying to mess with you, anything.
out of all my friends, i can count on you the most to not judge me for anything that i do or have done.
you always know what to say and when to say it, and send me the craziest pictures when you know im having a terrible day, just to make me smile.
i love how excited we both get when we know we get to see eachother and how we count down the days until it comes, but i also hate saying goodbye to you when either of us has to leave.
